I hated the costumes, I hated the makeup, I hated the editing, but somehow I didn’t hate the film. Sound design and camerawork were very good for very brief intervals but were ultimately undermined by frenetic cuts and inconsistent thematic intentions. And seriously, why didn’t they make life easier for themselves and just give Snow White a damn wig? The continuity supervisor is probably ripping their own hair out from the stress.
