  I went into this movie thinking it'd stupid and lame but at least not a snooze-fest, but boy was I wrong.

  After reading some reviews I learnt of a quote from francis ford coppola:

  "My film is not about Vietnam. It is Vietnam"

  I already hated the film. It's messaging was weak, it was boring as fuck, and the lack of Vietnamese characters was gross. This quote just cemented everything I was feeling and discredited any of the (very few) good thoughts I had for the movie.
