  Big review to come later but overall thoughts is that it was excellent. Subtle, brutal and a non-glamorised war film. It felt very realistic - thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lets hope and pray Ridley Scott never sees this review - I doubt he'll be letting me onto one of his films if he does.   This film turned out to be one of my all time favourites - I'd watched it as a kid and had never really understood the meaning behind it - only that it was an adventure film about a man with a day dreaming problem.
