The female lead is genuinely a woman written by a man in every way. I found her plot line and character development incredibly problematic. With that being said, I did find this movie really engaging and was kinda surprised by the twist ending

Notting Hill 1999
Can honestly say it’s the first time I’ve heard someone described as “kisses like a nymphomaniac on death row”.
But in all seriousness Anna Scott was an incredibly unlikable lead character. A lack of any friends or side characters meant she wasn’t humanized and often left me hoping Hugh Grant would stop pursuing her. I truly found myself rooting for them to part ways.
