I watched this movie at Ragtag with my two friends and four middle-aged women who were drinking wine. While watching a movie about a young woman recovering from alcoholism. The techno music montages against the setting of a Scottish shore were shiver inducing. Sairose Roans performance was amazing, and even though the relationship with her characters mother was not the main point of the film, it was better than Ladybird.
