Imagine Me & You 2005
Thoroughly convinced that this movie is set in an alternate universe where the actual concept of Divorce does not exist and where gay men dress like Steve Jobs when going to the woods at night

Tropical Malady 2004
Keng really said "I owe you an apology, I wasn't really familiar with your game" and then surrendered his flesh, spirit, memories to the yearning monster who flung him off a cliff. Practically a documentary on queer love

Cinema Paradiso 1988
I didn't watch the director's cut and alhamdulillah to that! Personally the cinema culture of his childhood would have given me anxiety, but the intergenerational friendship was worth it. The romance though... I did like that one time they ate salad out of cactus bowls.
