I looooved that this wasn’t over my head. Didn’t feel like I was missing some hidden symbolism, and this shows that a story doesn’t necessarily need that to be meaningful. And I think the straightforwardness allowed me to really get emotionally invested… laughed so much at the clever dark humor, felt the heaviness of loneliness, etc. etc. Fecking good movie!!

Feels criminal to give this anything less than 4 stars, and I do think it’s deserving of those. It’s a beautiful story. But I don’t think I’m bought in to the infatuation so many have with this movie.
