I really enjoyed Noc Pizzolato's book which was the basis for the film. I also was pleased with the casting and some of the cinematography and chemistry between Elle and Ben. However, it was a pretty confusing character development of Ben's character and Elle's character as well and I did not enjoy the trite ending. I will always enjoy the bar scene with Fire on the Mountain playing while they danced and the beach scenes with the whole cast.

Interesting premise, a few steamy moments, but otherwise a rather dull affair (see what I did there?) Also, no shade to Kidman's acting, she's incredible, but why the hell does she keep doing that to her face? It makes her look like an alien. And the ending was so derivative imo.
