egger’s ability to accurately immerse viewers in historical periods is unmatched! the attention to culture, costume, language, etc is always so well researched and amplified by his atmospheric visual style. the acting performances were incredible, and i love the way orlok was portrayed.. truly eerie in a truer to life way than other vampiric/nosferatu films i’ve seen. such an enchanting movie and genuinely beautiful start to finish
