I'm Thinking of Ending Things 2020
Started off good with a lot of possible routes the film could take. I found myself constantly waiting for every scene/element to be unpicked or explained, but it never seemed to get to the point. Enjoyed the first half, but was left feeling stunned at the end, and not particularly in a good way.

The innovative storyline concept, paired with the brilliant performances of Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, has easily made this one of my favourite films of all time. The very idea of wiping your memory of someone hits hard and has a raw, realistic, relatable message. The hidden metaphors of Clementine’s hair changing colour to match the seasons of their relationship, and the exploration of Joel’s subconscious, have given this film its power to win over an audience in new, uncharted ways. Brilliant.
