another movie that is completely unappreciated. it’s an amazing celebration of the early era of cinema and and exciting movie. the only part i wasn’t a massive fan of was the bit with tobey maguire and the creepy dungeon bit, however i also see how that is important for the plot, and a representation of how they spiraled out of control. i absolutely adored the performances by margot robbie and diego calva. brad pitt also did a pretty good job…

films don’t have to be groundbreaking stylistically to be perfect. this film makes me reevaluate my life and what i’m taking for granted every single time i watch it. the acting is beautiful. the story is beautiful. the beach scene makes me cry every time and i love it.
