La La Land 2016
La la land has that nostalgic feel and the awestruck feeling of the LA “Hollywood” dream. It is definitely a classic rom com, but has that musical touch if you’re into that (I’m not). Ryan Gosling is also the epitome of my dream man personality wise and looks wise. If Rachel McAdams was Mia then it would be 5 stars for me. Maybe I just need to watch The Notebook again.

Dune: Part Two 2024
Part two is most definitely worth the watch if you are a big sci fi fan; the visuals and deep subplots are giving Star Wars but in a modern way (and not as iconic). My fav part is literally any scene including the worms and the thumpers because they were sick as hell. I appreciate the attention to detail in this movie; I am not the biggest sci-fi fan, nor have I read the book, but the production value and quality of the film was outstanding- it definitely earned the awards. Most likely will see the second one to complete the lore of the first book.

Made the Top 10 movie list for me! Love love love the action and soundtrack and overall angst of this movie. Makes me want to drive fast in the desert and be a badass and hang on the front of a car playing a loud electric guitar. 5/5 and more.
