Masterful opening shot and breathtaking landscapes and textures. The low angle shots and wide, claustrophobic images loom over you, weighing heavy on your heart as Brady Corbet's epic explores Jewish heritage, immigration, repression, poverty, racism and of course the cruel hand of American capitalism.
