Do the Right Thing 1989
This is one of my all time favorite movies. I think it's the perfect mix between a "slow burn" and engaging. I also just love the production, specifically the costume design and the color scheme employed by Lee. There are just so many perfect shots in this movie. Also the canted / dutch angles that Lee uses here are some of my favorites.

Saturday Night 2024
I thought Chevy Chase was a place in Maryland before seeing this movie so more context would’ve been helpful but not necessary. The runtime is an interesting component because the fictional and literal ones match up. I also loved how the score was partially diegetic and partially non diegetic. Overall good movie! But def not life changing
