Completely riveting. Reminiscent of the court scenes in “Anatomy of a Fall”. Fun to watch a film with such simplicity, limiting the shots to just the courtroom and not distracting with flashbacks.

Pattinson pulls off 2 completely different characters, acting side by side, or however they edit it together in “post”. As a viewer I never questioned him as two different people despite being identical. Too much symbolism in this satire to wade through: the poor workers as expendable, indigenous peoples as monsters, politicians as narcissists, and on and on. But I enjoyed watching it. Oh and never go to a 4DX screening - it’s ridiculous.

The film has a dreary, November day look to it, even when they are in Tulum, Mexico. Still not sure what the director and writer are trying to say about ex-husbands and relationships: don’t obsess over the loss of physical connection and the symbols of the relationship and just appreciate that…
