Really good film- an all British cast, just goes to show what fantastic actors and actresses Britain produces. Very enjoyable adventure- fabulous effects.
This is a light-hearted comedy. It's a follow up to Knocked Up- a few years on in Pete and Debbie's relationship, whereby turning 40 seems to be having a catastrophic effect on their family life. More of the same comedy from the same crowd of actors and actresses- don't get me wrong, an enjoyable film, but not a fresh idea. An easy comedy, with easy laughs.
I really liked this film- it doesn't beat the original Monsters Inc, obviously, BUT it is a very good prequel to the original movie. It's witty, fun, and enjoyed by children and adults alike. I think I had psyched myself up for a film better than the first, so felt only slightly deflated, but all in all very enjoyable.
Oh dear... I so wanted to love this film. It seemed to be catered more towards children. So I was disappointed, and annoyed at this film not delivering the same fantastic experience as the Lord of the Rings Trilogy.
