i wanted to like it so bad but there’s really not much to like about a movie that relies too heavily on its concept rather than actually saying anything about the issue it’s portraying other than extremely surface level sentiments… it would visit ideas and characters only to ignore them 5 minutes later, and the movie’s most interesting character was killed so his backstory wouldn’t have to be properly fleshed out.
