Jenkins beautifully captures the essence of Fony, Tish and their love as its embedded in a crushing system of injustice. His mood driven style is such a compliment to Baldwin’s book and provides such an evocative platform for the character and story to flourish. I loved it so much, and don’t think I’ll be able to hear the score without bursting into tears.
