Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy 2025
🇬🇷🧮🦆Found on a dodgy stream and Alex kept shouting as it buffered which pissed me off. Also the problem with watching at home is you have to pause every two minutes for someone to wee. Lovely film tbh, Colin was missed tho, mumma cried and needed a hug, I did shed a tear at the singing child. New main men were fit however and appreciated the jumper at the end icl. Gonna make myself a dirty bitch now xoxo

At 8am my critique of this film was scathing, on reflection I have nuanced my points. Chicken scene made me sad. Cinematography was really interesting, nuances of the film were good, impactful choices to discuss forgetting/colonialism however were some issues imo: 1. Unfortunately for me was just not entirely engaging, slow at points, lacked depth in its consideration of violence and resistance, felt unsatisfying which I know was in part the point but also just fell a bit short. 2. More importantly: Was the wife having an affair? Confused by her obsession with two random characters and need to know
