This is a great story and I love the corruption shown within the Vatican, not just with Ewan McGregor obviously, but the popes smoking and the media profiteering off of the success of their own candidate. On the flip side though, I do like Langdon’s honesty with his indecision towards faith and his respect despite its flaws, naive thinking perhaps but I do think the world would be a better place if we showed more respect to those who don’t…

I now know how confusing it is for my boyfriend watching Barbie films for the first time because this… I have no words. Also, it feels like it’s that awkward animation style where they can’t decide between classic or modern Barbie so it looks like it’s in the awkward teenage phase.

The twinkle of marvel starting to come back but it didn’t quite hit the spot, there weren’t really any actual stakes and all was just so Sam could do Ross’ bidding. It’s almost not a Captain America film, he just happens to be doing shit in it, when we look at it, there wasn’t really much character journey for Sam, he was just used as a vehicle to enable other characters’ journeys. It’s a shame but it was the most excited I’ve been for a marvel film recently… the bar is kind of on the floor though for that one…

I have not seen this one in a HOT minute, it’s so lovely to look back and see actually how brilliant the message is for young kids watching this and it’s still so relevant today.
