The greatest feat of All We Imagine as Light is its ability to make Mumbai, a city in my imagination that’s crowded and chaotic, feel intimate and quiet. The characters are in tune with the rhythms of the city, they find places on public transit or in city centers to connect.
The last act has my whole heart though. Sea caves, declarations of love, liminal possessions brought on by amnesia. We are all we have. Try and realize it.
