Upon finishing this movie I wasn’t sold. The portrayal of mental illness and sexual relationships felt VERY trite at times. I found the idea of quitting a self-harming habit and replacing it with a hot and heavily erotic relationship naive to say the least ( I wish it was this easy). However this is a fictional love story OF COURSE it’s going to be naive and that is what I realized. I found a few similarities between the main character…
