National treasure but just a little bit worse in every way. It’s not a bad watch by any means, but it’s very clearly a sequel movie that’s missing the scrappiness of the original (Ben and Riley even wear nice fitted suits instead of their jeans and leather jackets) and relies on a lot of tell-don’t-show exposition early on.
Even though the vibe is off, the cast is still amazing. You really just can’t go wrong with Cage. That man is the second coming as far as I’m concerned.
