  Still like it, but I still kind of think the wife is just a fucking plot device meant to give hints to the big reveal at the end, god damnit. Whatever. Good film, Nolan loves us all.

  I don’t really remember one particular moment as being a particularly “dark” representation of Churchill. That was a bit disappointing. The part that wasn’t disappointing was the really, really sweet and heartbreaking scene of Churchill on the train with the civilians, which I think is so intriguing to watch because it’s what we think we would want to do if we were in a position of power. Walk down the street like any normal person, but being especially excited by the fact that everyone is watching you in awe.
