  *an orchestral rendition of ‘lavender’s blue’ plays as I weep* 

  Younger me was disenthused with this movie when I first saw it but I think it was mainly because it’s not a musical 💀 but oh this is such a lovely version. The sets, costumes, and filmography are BEAUTIFUL and every scene of this is steeped in such emotion I was on the verge of tears like 90% of the time 😭

  The first mistake was Joey King sleeping with her feet out of the covers (actually no- it was when Sadie refused to go into the house and they didn’t care. If my dog doesn’t want to enter the house we’re mf GONE) 

  Idk why but this is one of my go-to sick day movies…the first time I watched it I was isolating to my room with covid, today I just have a cold but same vibes
