  A classic adventure story through and through and not at all the dad movie I was half expecting. It’s a very compelling story of poverty, greed and trust. The scenes and locations are completely incredible and the score compliments each mood perfectly. A great Western adventure movie that has aged like wine.

  Having watched The Third Man, I thought i’d take a deeper dive into the much revered Orson Welles catalog. This is only the 2nd film i’ve watched but it was the one he directed himself but I have to say it wasn’t the film I had anticipated.

  Forgot how fantastic this movie is. Its use of space is incredible and predates 12 angry men in that same regard. The colours are also stunning. Third time watching this classic and it only gets better upon rewatching.
