This is a prime example of post marvel slop and just how soulless these streaming exclusives are. We finally know now that the Russo Bros are a one trick pony. Apparently this thing had something like a 320 million dollar budget, I don’t know where it went. There are maybe 4 major sets and 5 main human actors.

Written and directed by Stephen King, this movie has the best opening. a green space cloud covering earth and turning all machines against us. I’m a big fan of Adam Elliot, I really liked Mary and Max, this is on par with that…but boy was it dour, even more dour. It can be really silly and have some very fun visuals but it does bury you under the weight of its many many depressing issues. This one like Mary and Max deals a lot with loneliness and not fitting in. It was very touching and I’m glad I watched it.

Maybe the last sexy movie to come out. I like to watch it every few years to remember that Russell Crowe used to have a jawline…and what a jawline! Rarely do you see a film take such a balanced look at corrupt police work. Let’s get one thing straight, Exley, White and Vincennes are not good guys but they are closest thing to good guys you’ll get in this movie. A modern movie would be too chicken shit to give…
