Dune 2021
The setup movie that had me waiting impatiently for 3 years. This movie pairs with the book that no other adaptation movie could ever do for me. It does a great job of skipping scenes that wouldn’t work well on camera (dialogue scenes etc) and focuses on the vibes. The score is amazing, setting up goosebump worthy scenes and reveals. Frank Herbert would be proud. 12/10 but read the book first.
