this didn’t feel like 3.5 hours and that’s impressive! the dialogue between adrien brody and felicity jones was very moving and brought me back in the second half.
the score and cinematography were great. i really really appreciate that we didn’t see the convo between László and Erzsébet. we didn’t need to see it and it would have been a whole other beast to act that out. it adds weight to the decision of László saying he’d follow Erzsébet for eternity.…
