Gotta love a movie from the hometown boy!! Watching it on an early access premiere in the theatre he sat in growing up.

Wow. I actually loved this whole movie. Does it have the Leitch effect where the end keeps going not where you thought it was going to? Yes, but it doesn’t feel wrong. Gosling and Blunt were incredible. They had such good chemistry you wanted more of them instead of being split up at times. Supporting cast was…

Honestly such a fun watch. The movie it self is around four stars. However, after meeting and talking David Leitch and him signing my 300 poster this movie will forever be a 5/5. Fucking amazing.

I have always hated horror films. I don’t get the purpose of watching gore, but I get the suspense. The tense feeling of not knowing what’s happening next. I’m a weirdo and watch a lot of my movies based on the poster. Funny Games has an amazing poster and has always interested me, but the premise sounds gory and pointless to watch. Beyond devastating. Been waiting to watch this one for a long time and it did not disappoint. Up there with Apocalypse Now in terms of war films.

    Loved it

Glaser is great, but several bits felt very stretched out more than they should. Overall she is at the top of her game right now

First movie at the Oriental. Watching a film centered around architecture in a beautiful theatre in 70mm just felt right.

Brody was perfect. Pierce and his son in the movie were also just as stellar. I misunderstood a massive point in the movie which made the ending worse than it already was. Man, what an ending.

If it ended on a better note we could see a 5.

Edit: it’s a 5. I missed a pivotal point in the movie so that’s why the ending was weird for me when I wrote my initial review. This is phenomenal top to bottom.
