  slow act one

  about 15 minutes in we get to the good stuff

  this movie borrows its entire "future aesthetic" from one of my all time favorite movies "save the green planet" (2003)

  which is amazing, by the thirty minute mark i was all in

  it was like rick and morty married time bandits with a bit of kung fu soccer and jet li's "the one" and quantum leap

  plus michelle yeoh and "i only do the eyes" james hong…
