  Love to see Wes Anderson exploring how to tell stories in film. This is essentially a movie with no story at all, structured through a play that I’m pretty sure he’s portraying as bad?? Super fascinating to see him experiment.

  That being said, it still feels devoid of any emotion or story and is a slog at times. It’s hard to get excited. But man, oh man, it is STUNNING to look at.

  Also - a game of MASH revealed the alien as my future husband so I had to see what he was all about. I sign off.
