Everything was done so well and was realistically brutal. The setting, the character arcs, the set pieces, costumes, and cast - incredible performances all around. Gripping dialogue, awesome "here we stand" speech(es), the MUD AND DECAPITATIONS. So good. It was a little slow paced and didn't quite have an appropriate ending considering the intensive build up. However that just left me wanting more of the movie, so positives and negatives. Overall worth watching, but at 2h20m I definitely recommend an intermission around 1h15m. If you can't stand gore or don't love timepieces, probably isn't for you
