    Kind of feels like this was made just as a direct response to the meme about two women never speaking to each other in LOTR.

    Animation was beautiful but was also a bit distracting at times with both 2D and 3D.

    Was surprised that I had heard such mixed reviews from people on this, because I absolutely loved it. A no-nonsense look at the active role that journalists play when covering a dynamic story, and the level of responsibility they bare in regards to getting things right on the first go. Interesting as a time capsule to look at how the media has devolved from this point, and how this could be a turning point for when it became more important…

    Really went into this thinking I would absolutely love it, and maybe it was partially my expectations talking, but something just seemed to fall a bit flat. 

    Rob is incredible, and continues to be on the short list of actors who I will see whatever they release. However, the comedy didn’t really land for me, and the tonality seemed not quite sure where to land. A movie with some big on the nose ideas that didn’t seem to mesh with the more slapstick nature of the storytelling for me.

    This was one of my favorite books I read in 2023, and I think I would have liked it more if I hadn't read the book first. The book is so dense, and there's so much backstory in the book compared to the movie that this felt a little lacking.
