VISUALIST explores video art scene trough the eyes of some of the most representative visual artists in the world. This movie captures interviews with artists such as Daito Manabe, Adam Smith (The Chemical Brothers), Ali M Demirel (Plastikman), Pfadfinderei (Moderat, Tale of Us), Bradley GMUNK, Matt Black (Cold Cut / Ninja Tune), Robert Henke (Ableton developer and techno artist "Monolake") and Hamill Industries (Floating Points), among many others AV innovators. It focusses on showing how visual art has evolved from the clubbing scene to art museums. From playing visuals in clubs to create coding art, mappings and light installations. I do recommend to watch it.
