Usually I find it annoying when they show the end at the beginning and then all the events that lead up to it come after, often it spoils it too much for me bc I’m trying to figure out the whole movie, when are we going to get the that end part shown first? But this one kept me guessing and was surreal and dreamlike horror enough that my curiosity stayed peaked. Good acting and great cinematography.

We finally get to see Riddick nakey which is fun. He’s got a good butt. I appreciate how they go back to their roots but don’t leave a huge gap from the necromonger storyline from the second movie. We get an explanation of how the second movie ties into this one. Keeping it congruent.

Such a great follow up to Pitch Black. The cinematography really pulls you in from the beginning.
Vin is the original daddy. My favorite part is him taming the wild beast who has the same eyes as him. “It’s an animal thing”
They really upped their game with visual effects and multiple locations throughout the movie. Cast is on point and love how they tied in the previous movie even being 5 years later.
