This left me thinking for days.
Even though the scenes were somewhat gruesome I found them more cinematic.
I was hesitant to watch this initially because I thought it would “scar” me in the sense of it being about cannibalism. It did but in such a good way, I thought the relationship between Maren and Lee was really romantic and not weird

This is such a great movie although I haven’t heard it mentioned ever, I thought it was really sweet and has one of my favourite actors in it eve hewson, I think she did a really great job. it’s so inspiring for music lovers too as funny and as touching as it is. I love John carneys take on the modern Irish family being Irish himself and showing the concept of working with what you have as the mother and son are shown as poor. over all I really love this movie and have watched it over 3 times
