The movie is visually pleasant but mistakenly assumes that visibility is synonymous with liberation, overlooking the issue of hate crimes against queer people. It presents superficial symbolism and features one-dimensional characters with stereotypical fashion choices and forced discussions about queer experiences. Not to mention the orgy scene.
While the intent is good, it falls short of effectively conveying this message.
