One of those movies that gives you that warm feeling in your chest, it just makes you feel GOOD. I did find myself crying a handful of times, and teary-eyed so many more. All of the heartfelt moments were just reinforced by the absolutely GORGEOUS animation. This is a movie that the entire family will enjoy, even if the entire family is a bunch of men in their mid-to-late twenties. I really hope Roz will return in Avengers: Doomsday.

The Substance 2024
I usually enjoy movies that make you FEEL something… and this movie made me feel sick... but it also made me… smile? I wasn’t expecting it to be so… silly? Over the top? It’s one of those films you have to watch once, just to say, “Yeah, I’ve seen it,” share in some mutual disgust with any other poor soul that’s seen it, then never watch it again. Nothing will prepare you for the last 30 minutes, not even the previous 2 hours. If you decide to watch this, then I wish you luck… and maybe don’t eat anything beforehand.
