  I knew this was going to be a 2 or 3 star movie, yet I still hit play. I'm a sucker for survival movies.
  This team put a lot of thought into creating unique monsters. (someone on here called them Duck Wolves, and I don't have better name, so we'll stick with that)
  The problem is we never try to understand them, learn about them, any kind of arch with these Duck Wolves. Nothing. Just survive the 90 minute movie and move on.
  Oh, they also forgot to have their characters grow or change or be any different than in the beginning of the movie.

  Every once in a while you watch a scene of dialogue in a movie and it speaks to you. The subtext is flowing directly into your thoughts and you're wondering if the person next to you is making the same connections or relating to the discussion the same way. Most recently I can remember having these feelings during Marriage Story (Noah Baumbach), Midnight in Paris (Woody Allen) and The Weather Man (Gore Verbinski).

  Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem 2023

  Is this the best Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle to date? Yes, yes it is. They are actually teenagers, with teenager problems, not full grown adult space aliens. Growing up I loved the originals, but this movie is on another creative level.
  Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross came in to add another layer of cool on top of A Tribe Called Quest.
