Raw 2016
The only film that has ever come close to toppling my favorite movie of all time. From perfectly wielding an incredible soundtrack, to one of the strongest lead actress performances I've ever scene, to stunningly haunting visuals, this movie continues to blow me away every passing year. Garance's physicality and energy in this performance goes beyond captivating. The director described this movie as a coming of age story that just happens to feature cannibals, which fits pretty well, but I describe it as a uniquely original work of art that just happened to steal my heart forever.

The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim 2024
