I wasn't surprised to see this is based on a comic, a comic Chris Ware is quite fond of (high praise). I like the idea, but Zemeckis takes this and renders it shithouse.

I watched the 1955 film, Journey to the Beginning of time, earlier this year and I wonder now if the deep history of our planet can ever be authentically felt since CGI was invented?
