  Visually beautiful, but deeply afraid to be anything.
  Going the musical route for the Joker sequel was definitely “a choice” but I don’t think it had to be a bad choice. But this movie is like a teenager: deeply afraid and insecure about itself. 
  There are definitely bright spots but they are few and far between. 
  This movie, while not being the worst thing ever should have not been made. 
  Plus points for the good cinematography.
