  Simple and effective with powerful visual storytelling and sound design. The lack of dialogue, shots of monotonous daily life, and repetitive and amplified sounds of the house added to the tension-building, up until the exciting albeit rushed ending. Loved the crazy cop faces; I wanted to see the intensifying of his guilt embodied more in these ways and for longer, as we do not have access to his inner thoughts as we do in the short story. But I understand it's a short film and ultimately it did everything it needed to. Beautiful cinematography.
