Noah 2014
(spoilers for one of the oldest stories known) Okay so we all kind of know the story of Noah, Aronofsky manages to turn this ancient story into a pretty cool epic.
This movie's main critical reception is that it isn't biblically accurate, like okay, no one alive now was there, I for one welcome the rock giant angels because they are sick and look cool.
Aronofsky made a biblical apocalypse movie with scenes like Noah's family listening to the last human's screams to live as they cling to a mountain peak, that's just hard af.
