the truth is... i am iron man.
this movie started with acdc and ended with black sabbath, how was i not meant to love it?
rdj nails this character, he's meant to be tony stark in a way not many actors have hit before.
i personally didn't get into it the way i have with say, spider-man movies, but i'm more familiar with and invested in spider-man than iron-man.
but the action was seriously awesome, the score brilliant, the acting great, the plot interesting.
what's not to like?
it was fun and cool and i did enjoy it, but i'm not crazy about it.
the action was pretty good, the references tight, the music slapped and the humour was decent, but it felt like something was missing.
i liked the characters and there was a real good cast, but i would've liked to know them more.
i also felt like the final fight was very avengers endgame, i don't really know what transformers fights are supposed to look like but i don't think it's that.
a classic film with classic characters.
i enjoyed it, though the greater mcu is not really my vibe.
