This film is honestly such a joke I love it.
I'm not going to say anything you cannot read in the top Letterboxd comments criticising the film. Indeed, the most of the second half of this film is genuinely woeful, absolutely no substance and predictable (also worse at times simultaneously boring and uncomfortable). The social commentary is thin where it could have expanded playing into the classism.

I really resonated with Licorice Pizza and the romance story. The biggest compliment I can pay to the film is I thought it was an excellent portrayal of modern romance, a feat that many films fall flat of.
The 10 year age gap could be an insurmountable obstacle to get over for some, but although this felt evident through the film, I think partly the overall message the film portrays is age does not necessarily constitute maturity. In Gary, you…
