Having not seen this is a long while it’s amazing how I remember every line. I must have watched this dozens of times in the early 90s and it just imprinted on me.
Just incredible across the board. To me, LA has always been the aesthetic found here and in Heat. Mix in a little Driver, Point Break and T2 and you see LA how I see it. Not really a short so much as it is an animation demo. It is a cute animation demo though and hopefully one that leads to more Lucasfilm/Ghibli collabs. Also the music was wonderful.
