    “Adventure Has A Name…”

And since I was a kid, that name has always been Indiana Jones. Growing up, Indy was the person I wanted to be when I got older. I even pursued (and earned) a Masters in History in part because of my love of Indiana Jones (yeah I know, I should have gotten an Archeology degree). Every time I’m hiking a mountain or kayaking to an island, that’s an Indy adventure to me. I even named my…

    Cop & ½

I currently own unopen copies on VHS and DVD which will be passed on, generation to generation so that when the time comes and they are the last remaining memories of Cop and 1/2 they can be destroyed by my bloodline. This will be my legacy. I will wipe this film from the face of the planet.

Having not seen this is a long while it’s amazing how I remember every line. I must have watched this dozens of times in the early 90s and it just imprinted on me.

Not really a short so much as it is an animation demo. It is a cute animation demo though and hopefully one that leads to more Lucasfilm/Ghibli collabs. Also the music was wonderful.

The David Gordon Green trilogy may not have been the all time “one bad night” trilogy I had predicted after Halloween Kills but it ended up being something so much more. An exploration of legacy. The legacy of Michael Myers. The legacy of Laurie Strode. The legacy of Haddonfield. Lastly, the legacy of “legacy sequels”.

I will say this to start, a lot of folks are going to HATE this movie. It’s own marketing is going to mislead a lot of…
