I had no idea if I would like this or not before seeing it. I mean, it’s Barbie, and I couldn’t picture myself being in the target audience.
I genuinely believe this may be one of the most powerful movies I’ve ever seen. It really was both very funny and very meaningful.
Breaking down the stereotypes that keep men and women separated and resentful towards each other was this movie’s mission, and it did a damn good job of doing that. And as someone who’s always kinda felt like shit for not being macho enough, it really struck a chord with me.
