I had a ball, but honestly the most interesting part was the wild disparity between the art for the vehicles and mech suits (beautiful, intricate) and the humans (weird asymmetrical blobs) as well as the violence (slow stabby motion and blood goes everywhere.
Very much the LOOK I wanted when I booted it up and still a deliriously fun time
I feel like I would have enjoyed this a lot more 2 years ago, and if I watched it over the course of like 3 days.
I threw this on as a recommendation from a friend (one of the entities listed in the special thanks), with the idea of keeping it as background commentary while I did some organizing. I ended up giving up that idea about half an hour into it when I ended up sucked into the movie. Although slow, the movie is funny when it needs to be and engrossing throughout.
